In terms of waterway dredging, the Yangtze River Estuary waterway improvement project is a classic example. Through the coordinated operation of bucket wheel dredgers and trailing suction hopper dredgers, the waterway depth was increased from 4 meters to 10.5 meters, enabling fifth-generation container ships to navigate in all weather conditions.
