Types of Amphibious Dredger

Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) 

This is the most common type of dredger used for deep excavation in water bodies. It uses a rotating cutter head to loosen the sediment, and then pumps it through a suction pipe to a different location.

 

Bucket Dredger 

This type of dredger uses a large bucket attached to a crane to scoop sediment from the bottom of the water body. The bucket is then lifted and dumped onto a barge or other container for transportation.

 

Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) 

This dredger is designed to work in shallow waters and uses a trailing arm to scoop up sediment from the bottom of the water body. The sediment is then pumped into a hopper, which can be transported to a different location for disposal.

 

Backhoe Dredger 

This dredger uses a hydraulic excavator to scoop up sediment from the bottom of the water body. The excavator is mounted on a barge or pontoon and can be moved to different locations as needed.
